Traveling North on the U.S. 101 Freeway:
Exit the 101 freeway at the Airport/ UCSB (Route 217) off-ramp (approximately
eight miles north of Santa Barbara) and proceed through the Henley Gate at the east
campus entrance. Veer right onto Mesa Road and continue to the traffic signal at
University Plaza. Turn left into University Plaza and continue to the Information
Kiosk (in the center of the plaza) for parking instructions. A permit must be
displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle while on-campus.
Traveling South on the U.S. 101 Freeway:
Exit the 101 Freeway at the Los Carneros Road off-ramp (approximately 10 miles
north of Santa Barbara). Turn right onto Los Carneros Road and drive past Hollister
Avenue to Mesa Road. Turn left onto Mesa Road and proceed to Ocean Road.
Veer right onto Ocean Road. Turn left at the first traffic signal and then make an
immediate right turn into the Mesa Parking Structure 18. A permit must be
displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle while on-campus.
The UCSB Visitor Center location on the UCSB campus can be searched on
MapQuest using the address Ocean Road at Mesa Road, Goleta, CA 93106. Tune
into AM 1610 within two miles of campus for traffic information.

Visitors must purchase and display a parking permit. Please park in designated Student/Visitor parking
lots or structures, identified by lot entrance signs. Permits are sold at the self-pay machines in each lot and parking structure.
