9. Does UC Santa Barbara accept applications for winter or spring quarter admission?

We accept freshman applications for the fall term only. Transfer students (with 90 or more quarter units or 60 or more semester units) may apply for either the fall quarter or the winter quarter (if UCSB is open for winter applicants). The filing period for the winter quarter is July 1-31 (For Fall it is Nov 1-30). UCSB typically enrolls a limited number of transfer students in the winter term; consequently, most students should plan on applying for a fall term. Check our website in late spring to see if UCSB is accepting applications for winter term.
