Campus Tours and Admissions Presentations Reservations are required for guests. Individual and family reservations can be made here. Groups of 10 or more can make reservations here. Campus Tours Walk with a current student or UCSB alumnus on a 75-90 minute campus tour. Stops include our largest lecture hall, the library, and the University Center. Get a student perspective of campus and residential life. Tours run Monday through Friday (except major holidays) noon and 2 p.m. starting at the Visitor Center. In April, a general tour is offered at noon, and a tour for newly admitted students is at 11 a.m. If you would like to visit on another Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, you may take a Self-Guided Tour Map and tour the campus on your own (available online at www.admissions.ucsb.edu/PublicationsAndVideos.asp and in print outside of the Visitor Center). Also, you can download our Podcast tour and enjoy a student guided audio introduction to the campus. Freshman Admissions Presentations Presentations are led by our admissions counselors Monday - Friday (except major holidays) at 11 a.m. in the Visitor Center. Freshman Admissions Presentations are also offered on Saturdays in April at 11 a.m. in the Visitor Center. These one-hour group sessions include information about: Freshman admission requirements UCSB's selection criteria Application instructions An overview of UCSB's academic programs Campus life Housing Financial Aid Freshman Summer Start Much more! Transfer Advising Sessions These small, one-hour group sessions include information about: Transfer admission requirements UCSB's selection criteria Application instructions An overview of UCSB's academic programs Campus life Housing Financial Aid Transitions: Early-start summer program for transfer students Presentations are led by our admissions counselors Monday - Friday (except major holidays) at 1 p.m. in the Visitor Center.
